Abstract

This internship report discusses the role of English teachers in the academic fields, mainly in MI Wahid Hasyim 02 Dau at Kucur, and the qualities of the English
teachers. The target of this internship report is for the writer is to increase knowledgein the teaching field and to understand the importance of responsibility during the
internship period. In order to reach the target, the writer was given the opportunity to join an internship program in MI Wahid Hasyim 02 Dau as an English teaching
assistant for four months. Throughout the internship, the writer observed the school’s situation and found that the school only has 2 English teachers to teach grade one until
grade six. It causes the lack of quality in teaching of English to not being at the peak. At the end of this internship report, the writer also includes the conclusion and the suggestions for MI Wahid Hasyim 02 Dau.
