Abstract
Human life is now entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 which makes technology’s role increased while the role of humans decreased. Although it sounds positive, this era also has a negative impact, especially for the younger generation in Indonesia. With the entrance of popular culture in Indonesia, Indonesian culture has been abandoned by the younger generation. One of them is
Panji which has many positive values for life, such as love, sacrifice, loyalty, and many more. The "Sekartaji" webtoon design is one of the utilization of technology to

the application. It is hoped that this comic book design can introduce the Panji Asmarangun story to Indonesia's young generation. In the design process, a mix method is used, which is a mixture of qualitative methods and quantitative methods. The qualitative method used is observation by
looking at official data contained on the LINE Webtoon website as well as library research in the form of journals and reference books. While the quantitative method
used is by distributing questionnaires to VCD (Visual Communication Design) students at Ma Chung University, Malang as a reference of qualitative methods. The result of this design is a digital illustration in the form of a JPEG format with a size of 800x10240 px which was successfully uploaded to the LINE Webtoon application. This comic itself totals 5 episodes with 30 panels in each episode. Aside
from being comic, this design also produced several supporting media such as tshirts, pins, notebooks, smartphone cases, and Instagram posts. Keywords: industrial revolution 4.0, digital comic, Panji Asmarabangun,Webtoon
