Abstract
Teenagers at this time have advanced technology so that they spend more time accessing gadgets. Teenagers also enjoy what they see through their devices more than communicating with their families. The incidence of distance between
adolescents and parents is also increasing with the lack of communication. The author wants teenagers to be able to gain awareness of caring in the family and know the importance of communication within the family so that conflicts that occur
can be discussed properly. The design of the "HAPPY GIRLS" webtoon utilizes technological advances in accessing comics, namely the LINE Webtoon media as the main place to access
stories that have been designed by the author. The author uses comics as a medium for providing education because it is more interesting and in accordance with the interests of teenagers at the age of 15-19 years. The webtoon "HAPPY GIRLS" has a slice of life and drama genre that fits the drama story of a family that has daily conflicts like a normal family. literature studies to get real data about conflicts that occur in families which the author later adopts as story ideas in the webtoon "HAPPY GIRLS" The result of designing the "HAPPY GIRLS" webtoon is a digital comic illustration in JPEG format with a size of 600 x 20000 pixels which has been
successfully uploaded on the LINE Webtoon application. This comic has 7 episodes with a minimum of 30 panels in each episode. The author also succeeded in designing supporting media in the form of t-shirts, tote bags, drawstring bags,
wallets, key chains, and stickers. The suggestion that the writer gives is that the writer hopes that readers can
read and get moral education through the webtoon "Happy Girls" and leave positive comments. The advice for the next webtoon designer is to stay healthy and design a better quality webtoon. Keywords: technological progess, teenagers, parents, family conflict, Happy Girls, Webtoon
