Abstract

The Introduction of knowledge of history is one way to understand the origin of a culture or civilization which is a reflection of events that occurred in the past, so that it can be a good guide in the future. In Christianity, history is a also a very important thing. One thing interesting history is the history related to the reform of the church. One of the most influential figures is john calvin from
France. But unfortunately not everyone understands and knows about the history of the reformation of the Church. Therefore, early recognition is needed, especially for children aged 6-8 years. In this design, the book is in the form of an illustrated storybook wich will later be presented to kids in Sunday School of GKKA-I Banjarbaru. Where the church has a reformed church background that
matches the characters in the story. The book with size of 21cm x 14,85cm, has a flat design illustration style with an outline. With total of 24 pages, bound in soft cover, and loaded in physical form (print). The conclusion of this design is to present an illustrated storybook to Sunday school children aged 6-8 years at GKKA-I Banjarbaru, wich narrates the history of Church reform as a form of
introduction to Christians from early age through the media of illustrated story books, posters, PR Packages, Instagram feeds, stickers, tumbler, photo cards, tote bags, and t-shirt with design identities. Keyword: Illustration Storybook, The History of Reformation Church, John Calvin from France.
