Abstract

Technological developments such as television, internet, and smartphones that can be accessed easily and are more desirable have made traditional performing arts, especially
wayang potehi less popular with the younger generation, this has led to the decline in the existence of the potehi puppet art. One of the museums that hold potehi puppet art
performances is the Potehi Jombang Wayang Museum which is located in the Raya Gudo area, Jombang, East Java. The Potehi Wayang Museum is also affected by the many
developments in technology and other entertainment media. Therefore we need a visual identity and promotional media for the Wayang Potehi Jombang Museum as a step to
introduce and preserve the art of wayang potehi as one of the acculturation cultures in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative to produce a visual identity and
promotional media that can introduce the puppet art of Potehi in Jombang Wayang Museum. This design is accompanied by applications for hats, flags, ID cards, envelopes, stamps, tshirts, pins, business cards, mugs, tote bags, window instructions, toilet signs, non-smoking
