Abstract
This thesis discusses research on personality changes and conflicts faced by the main character in the Gemini Man film released in 2019. The purpose of this research is to find out what and how the main character can experience personality changes and what conflicts he also has to face. Here, the writer has prepared two problem formulations, the first is how the main character's personality changes and what conflicts the main character faces. To answer the
problem statements, this study uses several theories to support the analysis of personality changes identified from characterization such as theories of character, haracterization, personality, and mise-en-scene. Meanwhile, to support conflict analysis, the writer uses conflict theory. Since the writer uses film as the object of research, this research is referred to as qualitative research. The results of the study revealed that the main character experienced a personality change from being a killer agent, merciless, not trusting anyone, and having no fear, turning into being merciful someone who does not want to kill, is cowardly, has doubts, and believes in others. Meanwhile, the conflicts faced by Brogan are internal and external. The personality changes faced by Brogan can also be caused by the conflicts he faces throughout the film.
