Abstract

Captain Marvel is a superhero movie by Marvel Studios. This research used Captain Marvel as the main source for an analysis of Girl Power aspect as represented by the main character, Carol Danvers. The objective of this study is to
identify how Carol Danvers represents Girl Power in Captain Marvel. In this study, the researcher uses Descriptive Qualitative Research Method since the researcher only focuses on finding the evidence of Girl Power aspect by Carol Danvers in the movie. The researcher gathered all the data by seeing the intrinsic element of character and characterization. The findings of this study indicated the dominant elements of Girl Power are that women can make decision; women are not powerless, and women are strong. Lastly, the researchers hope that this study can
be used as learning material as a foundation of behavior in society and be an inspiration to the reader.
