Abstract

The teaching assistant at MI Wachid Hasyim 02 Dau involved the practical application of the first three levels of Bloom’s taxonomy theory. The three levels are remembering,
understanding, and applying. This teaching assistant aimed to apply the professional skills acquired during the time as a student in the English Letters study program at Universitas Ma Chung. Throughout the internship, the writer encountered challenges, including issues related to the lack of students’ English comprehension and the lack of students’ enthusiasm in learning English, making it necessary to use the first three levels of Bloom’s taxonomy also summative
assessment such as grading, and formative assessment with sharing learning objectives and how to comprehend the lesson. This report offers a thorough explanation of these challenges, the theoretical framework that was mployed to comprehend and deal with them, and the practical solutions that were implemented in the context of these theories. It will function as a valuable resource for future students of Universitas Ma Chung to prepare for similar professional opportunities in the teaching world.
