Abstract
This report aims to report the teaching assistant program that went on during one semester starting from September 5, 2022, and ending on December 15, 2022. This program is carried offline from Monday to Friday. The writer hads duties as an English teacher for 7th grade. While observing the teaching assistant program, the writer found several problems, including students did not understand the intent
of the questions, and students with low self-esteem affect learning process. The writer applied several methods to overcome the problem such as, gain student’s interest and gave more support to each students who had low self-esteem.
