Abstract
Currently, there is a lot of progress in various aspects of life. This renewal occurs to meet human needs in meeting a growing trend. One of the things that have progress today is in the field of cosmetics. Beauty products have recently received a lot of attention. The amount of time spent at home during the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in increased consumption of social media from previous years. The
amount of information available on the internet, especially the discussion about beauty products makes this a new source of inspiration for some people. Many groups of people aged teenagers have started to care for the health of their skin
with a variety of products on the market. This is certainly an important concern because there are still many who feel unfamiliar with the content and benefits of a
product, which in the end will be fatal. Therefore, a book design was made that can be used as the main medium in recognizing the skin's nutritional needs. The design method used in the preparation of this book is qualitative research
with data collection through observation, interviews, and literature study. This book is dominated by illustrations representing some of the material that will be delivered, both for conveying messages and aesthetics. Overall, this book measures 20 x 20 cm with a total of 58 pages consisting of text and illustrations, bound with hardcover and full color, as well as supporting media such as tote bag, notebook, handkerchief, pouch, spa headband and
bookmark. The conclusion of this design is that it can increase basic knowledge of skin health through the use of books as the main medium for increasing the use of
