Abstract

The development of social media is currently giving more attention, the article is not only adults who use social media, but also children to old people who also
participate in the use of social media. To find out the effectiveness of using Tiktok and Instagram social media as promotional media. To find out the constraints and
solutions carried out by Maniva Particael Cafe. The type of research used in this study is qualitative. Qualitative research explores the information possessed by the
informants naturally at the same time without being designed or fabricated so that the results obtained are not biased. In determining the informants, the author uses a
continuous adjustment or focusing technique. The results of this study found that the use of social media TikTok and Instagram as promotional media at Maniva Particael Café was very effective. The application of TikTok and Instagram social media as promotional media can also help improve the performance of Maniva Particael Café. The use of TikTok and Instagram social media is considered efficient in terms of the cost and time required in implementing the promotion. By
using TikTok and Instagram social media, in less than 5 days Maniva Particael Café can increase the number of visitors. Constraints and solutions faced were several
complaints about the services provided through TikTok and Instagram social media accounts. Keywords: social media, effectiveness, TikTok and Instagram
