Abstract
This essay explores the experience during internship at TranslationLinker that was facilitated by Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PK-KM) Universitas Ma Chung. The English Letters Study Program was selected to run the PK-KM program, and TranslationLinker became one of Universitas Ma Chung’s partners for internship. This essay describes my experiences and reflection carried out during the internship program, practical things and techniques to become a good translator during the internship at TranslationLinker, including how challenge myself into translation field in order to gain valuable skill, even though the assigned tasks were not as frequent as expected and I did not have to interact with client directly. On the other hand, an internship in TranslationLinker is beneficial for me to write this reflective essay and provides real-positive work-life experiences and grows my basic skills in translation fields, and also which translation fields change my future career’s mindset. Those skills highlight how I communicate with the others and recognize the need for my commitment under professional mentors in four-months, followed by daily summary activity of the writer.
