Abstract
This report details the writer's experience during the PKKM internship program at TranslationLinker, a compulsory program for Universitas Ma Chung undergraduate students. The report offers an overview of the company, including a general description, history, and organizational structure. It also details the activities and tasks the writer was engaged in during the internship. TranslationLinker provided
knowledge and essential skills needed during the translation with the assignments given, such as texts or marketing, game updates, applications, letters, company policies, and subtitles. During the 4-month internship, the writer recognized some difficulties regarding CAT Tools usage. The lack of the utilization of CAT Tools affects translations' inconsistency and punctuation inaccuracy. As for the solution, (1) interns should fully comprehend and utilize CAT Tools, especially Terminology Management and Quality Assurance, as daily activities, (2) TranslationLinker
should provide practical learning of CAT tools more by fully maximizing the trial period or other free software. Nonetheless, TranslationLinker is an excellent choice
for an internship program, particularly for those interested in pursuing a career in the translation industry. The company is enthusiastic about sharing its knowledge
and providing valuable experience.Key Words: Internship, CAT Tools, Consistency, Punctuation, Experiential
