Abstract

Health service facilities, especially drugstores in Malang, play an important role in meeting the community's need for health support. The large number of drugstores in Malang is currently considered to be able to cause high competition
between drugstores. Geographical Information System was then chosen to see how the distribution of drugstore was reviewed based on the number of populations in each sub-district and the number of health facilities spread in Malang.Analysis of drugstore distribution was carried out using the Nearest NeighborStatistics calculation. From 199 drugstores in 5 sub-districts, the T value was greater than 2.1491. It means that they had similar pattern or spread evenly. Based on the
population, the calculation result of the drugstore ratio obtained the best ratio inKedungkandang sub-district which was 1: 1,010 (14: 100,000). It means that it had
fulfilled the requirements set by the Ministry of Health and WHO.A small ratio in Kedungkandang sub-district showed that accessibility in this sub-district was already good. Moreover, the results of the comparison ratio of
drugstores and the population in 4 other sub-districts obtained results that had met the requirements of pharmacists set by the Ministry of Health, but have not met the requirements of pharmacists set by WHO. Furthermore, based on the number of health facilities, the results of the drugstore ratio showed that from 5 sub-districts in Malang,
4 other sub-districts namely Kedungkandang, Blimbing, Lowokwaru and Klojen hadratios with good categories. It was indcated by the ratio value (1-1.9) which means that the number of drugstores in the sub-district was equal toor greater than the number of existing health facilities. In addition, Sukun sub-district had a very good ratio as
indicated by a ratio value of 2.1 or (> 2), which indicates that the number of drugstores were greater than the number of health facilities. Keywords: drugstore distribution, Geographical Information System, Nearest Neighbor Statistics, Ratios, T Value
