Abstract

The research was conducted at PT. Inkor Bola Pacific Pandaan which produces balls with a job order. The company has struggled to manage workforce schedules since the pandemic due to limited operational costs and declining demand
for balls. Specialization between production processes also makes it difficult for companies to manage the number of workers. The method used in this research is the Tibrewala, Philippe & Browne. This method can help determine the number of daily labor requirements for each production process. The first stage is to determine holidays, then calculate the labor requirements and create a solution table from the calculations that have been carried out. The last is to analyze the effectiveness of labor costs. This data processing is carried out for the production process during the pandemic. The results of data processing that have been carried out indicate the need for a reduction in the workforce. Effective workforce scheduling for all operators
is modeled on a two-week timeframe. The results of the cost analysis show that the scheduling can reduce operational costs. Suggestions that can be given to the company is to provide training so that each operator can work on the entire series of production processes, so that not too many operators are off.
