Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is a problem that has attracted the attention of many organizations today because it covers issues in terms of humanity, legal aspects, costs and benefits, accountability, and the image of the
organization itself. At present, the company can be said to have not implemented K3 properly. These things can cause work accidents and occupational diseases.Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to prevent work accidents and
occupational diseases, one of which can be done using risk analysis. One method is HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control). This method consists of 3 (three) stages, namely hazard identification, risk assessment, and determination of control measures based on the data collected.Hazard identification is carried out by conducting interviews and observations of employees and owners of industrial houses, while risk assessment
is carried out by distributing questionnaires assessing the likelihood and severity of the risk of each potential hazard. This questionnaire was distributed to employees and owners of one of the tofu cottage industries. After obtaining the risk index for each potential hazard, the next step is to determine risk control measures. Based on the results of the study, there were 19 potential hazards in the
process of making tofu, of which 15,9% were hazards with low-risk categories, 36,9% were hazards in medium risk categories, and 47,2% were hazards in high�risk categories. Jobs with a high level of risk are in the activities of boiling tofu, frying tofu, and giving tofu precipitating solutions.Controls that can be done to reduce risk include the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for workers so that workers can safely and comfortably work, and install warning signs at every corner of the production room to prevent unwanted things from happening.Keywords: Occupational Heaalth and Safety (OHS), HIRARC
