Abstract
Many construction companies were established to meet the infrastructure needs to be more adequate. PT. Wijaya Karya is one of the companies engaged in construction and infrastructure development. The project is carried out in the construction of the Main Bridge at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten. Factors that can affect the
work process is a risk. If the risk is not handled properly, the project implemented will suffer losses in terms of time, finance, and project results. The problem that occurred
PT. Wijaya Karya still must find a suitable risk management process because the project will be carried out soon and has high hopes that the project will run well.The design of the risk management system made in the research will help to
identify the risks that will be experienced and determine the priority scale of risks that must be handled by PT. Wijaya. The Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method is a
technique used to analyze the risks that will occur to get the priority of the risks that have the most influence so that they can be handled properly so that the project can run optimally. The project is expected to run and complete according to plan if it can handle the risks that will occur properly and appropriately.The results of the study indicate that the risk of changing the work schedule is the most important risk to consider because this risk has the greatest impact on the project. These risks can be handled by using the services of planning consultants so
that they can be handled properly when these risks occur. Supervision of work results will continue to be carried out by the Construction Department so that these risks can
be identified and handled. This needs to be prepared by the company so that all project activities run optimally according to the design that has been designed.Keywords : The project, Risk Management, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, risk priority, risk resolution process
