Abstract

Over time, there are many food and beverage industries were opened by many entrepreneurs. One of the most popular business opportunity is to opening a café. There
are so many cafes opened in Indonesia and also in the city of Malang. Each café has its own uniqueness and characteristics. Therefore, the competition between each café is very tight. One of the cafes that has the potential to survive in this competition is Kopiright. Kopiright is a café that sells coffee and non-coffee-based drinks. Kopiright always provide fresh coffee, because the owner buys fresh coffee beans directly from coffee farmers. However, Kopiright is still less recognized by the people of Malang due to the lack of strong visual identity and marketing. Therefore, Kopiright need a brand identity that can attract the attention of consumers and potential consumers of Kopiright. The purpose of this design is to create a new brand identity and a GSM which is useful as a guide in applying logos and other visual elements to maintain brand consistency. This study uses qualitative methods to obtain the required data. Then the data will be processed using the SWOT analysis method, and creative brief. In addition, social media promotion will also be designed in the form of Instagram feeds and packaging that will be useful as promotional media.
