Abstract
Intestinal Worms often infected children, Indonesia have fairly high prevalence rate of about 2.5-62%. Children still do not realize the importance of maintaining personal hygiene in order to avoid intestinal worms. Coupled with the very low reading interest in Indonesia, according to UNISCO the reading rate of Indonesians is only 0.001%. Therefore, it is necessary to make education book to prevent
intestinal worms. The story used is how pinworm eggs enter the body and makes children infected. In this study, the methods used were non-interactive qualitative
and quantitative methods, resulting in making interactive storybook illustrations that educate children aged 3-5 years about the prevention of intestinal worms by
keeping their hands and nails clean. The design concept aims to convey pinworm prevention information with simple visuals and bright colors to attract children. Made interactive with lift the flap and games so that children can actively
participate and the information can be conveyed properly. Supporting media in this design are posters, Instagram feeds, and merchandise such as stickers and hand
washing soap. Keywords: health, storybook, illustration, intestinal worms.
